SLAM DUNK FESTIVAL is excited to announce its fourth and final announcement for this year’s already jam-packed festival line up. Fresh off the back of their recent UK tour, and leading the way on today’s announcement are American alt outfit PVRIS. With over 700 million streams worldwide throughout a decade-long career, PVRIS has catapulted the project across genres over three critically-acclaimed studio LPs, blending dreamy, atmospheric electronica with heavier alt-rock beats and will return to Slam Dunk Festival this summer.
The Maine are also amongst the names set to return to Slam Dunk Festival later this year, after their UK arena tour with You Me At Six in February. Showcasing their most recent, self-released, album ‘XOXO: From Love & Anxiety In Real Time’, the pop-rockers will be gracing the Slam Dunk Festival stages for the second time in their 15 year long career.
Also announced today are hard-rock favourites, Escape The Fate. Hailing from Las Vegas, Escape The Fate are set to make their Slam Dunk Festival debut this May. With millions of listeners per month and an ever-growing social footprint – the band have received over 700 million combined lifetime streams and views with their music and videos and have over 5 million fans across social platforms, Escape The Fate have proved themselves as a rock force and are sure to leave the Slam Dunk crowd wanting more this summer.
Storming the way as a new generation rockstar, viral sensation jxdn will be making their hugely anticipated UK debut at Slam Dunk Festival this summer. jxdn is the first artist signed to Travis Barker’s DTA Records who has since racked up over 20 million streams across platforms and has broken into 38 Global Viral charts to date, promising to leave Leeds and Hatfield as a festival highlight this year.
Also announced today and joining the festival for the first time this year are punk-rock outfit Teenage Bottlerocket who will be bringing their high-energy live performance to the festival this May. Multi-instrumentalist and global viral superstar Sueco will also be landing at Slam Dunk Festival later this year, after generating over 1 billion streams and receiving praise from the likes of Rolling Stone, NYLON, Alternative Press, Billboard and OnesToWatch, Sueco will sure to lead the crowd in a mass of chanting and sing-alongs this summer. Scene Queen is also another TikTok force who will be making their way to Slam Dunk Festival for the first time, known for coining the term ‘Bimbocore’, the Hopeless Record’s signing will be bringing their sound of feminist metalcore to the festival.
Genre-bending Emarosa are also set to take to the Slam Dunk stage, shifting from the hard rock scene, Emarosa have become leaders of the alternative world and will now bring their sound of alternative-pop and synth-wave to the UK later this year. Other additions to the already huge line up are French metalcore four-piece Landmvrks, Leeds’ own hardcore punk outfit Higher Power, Pure Noise signing and emo pop-punk collective Youth Fountain, and alt-pop rising star Zand.
Critically acclaimed from the likes of Ones to Watch and Alt Press, online sensation LØLØ and viral superstar has also been announced to debut Slam Dunk Festival later this year, alongside the fierce Millie Manders and the Shutup, who since touring with names such as Less Than Jakes as earned themselves the title of one of the best emerging live acts on the scene. Finally, rounding up the list of today’s announcements are Slam Dunk Record’s very own The Tyne who since signing to the label has proved themselves as an outfit full of youthful energy and insanely catchy hooks which are certain to draw in a crowd at this year’s festival
